Welcome to Virtual Experience! My name is Erich Kohrs and I am a Virtual Tour Photographer based in the city of Nelspruit, Mpumalanga province, South Africa and offers custom made Virtual Tours to the hospitality industry including Hotels, Lodges, Bed and Breakfasts, Guesthouses and self catering accommodation. A Virtual Tour of your establishment is undoubtedly the most powerful and most effective marketing tool there is. Virtual Tours let you showcase your establishment as it really is and it allows the prospective client to do a “walk through” of the lodge in the comfort of his/her own home before actually visiting the place. Virtual Tour photography and Wildlife photograpy is my passion. Feel free to browse the still photos gallery for a range of my Wildlife Canvas Prints.
The process of developing a Virtual Tour begins with taking a series of overlapping images covering 360 degrees horizontally and 180 degrees vertically in each room. These images are then joined or “stitched” together with special software to produce a single image called a spherical or Virtual Reality Panorama. Once the images have been stitched for each individual room the VR Panoramas are then linked to each other with “hotspots.” Hotspots is simply the area where one clicks on the arrow to take you to the next room. After connecting all the VR Panoramas of the individual rooms with each other the Virtual Tour is complete. After completion of the Virtual Tour the tour is then embedded onto the clients own website, not just a link. By double clicking in the viewing window the tour can be viewed in full screen.
A Virtual Tour by Virtual Experience will put your Hotel, Lodge
or Guest House a step ahead of your competitors!
